Molly offers a full review of both mom and baby as it relates to breastfeeding. Consultations can help reassure families that breastfeeding is working well, or can help work towards solutions if there are any difficulties.
A prenatal visit is a great way to discuss your breastfeeding goals, create a breastfeeding plan, and feel more prepared before your little one arrives.
During our first visit, a complete health history will be taken of both you and baby, and an oral exam of baby will be done to see if there are any restrictions that could be contributing to breastfeeding difficulties. Next, a weighted feeding will be done to determine how much baby is able to drink from your breasts and we will work on positioning and latch. Finally, a detailed care plan will be sent to you so that you leave feeling confident in your breastfeeding journey!
Follow-up visits will include calculating baby's weight gain from our previous visit, a weighted feed, and the creation of a new care plan so you always know the next steps for you and your little one.
